Materials
The wire I use, is a non-tarnish silver or gold enamel copper core wire. I generally use 20 and 28 gauge wire for strength and flexibility. The glass I fuse is Bull's-eye 90 COE with iridescent finish. I use full sheets of glass cut into strips, making it impossible to replace or make duplicates. Each strip is cut by hand, layered with other compatible, fusible glass and fired to 1500' in a small kiln, in small batches. I usually am able to make 1 necklace and 2 "beads" in a firing. Each piece is fully annealed and cooled for durability.
